Remove pieces carefully, if they are still attached tap them with a hammer.
This cut will remove a large piece of the base.
The bird is starting to take shape
The next cut removes some more under the tail.
The other side of the same cut, note the saw is not past the line.
This cut completes the basic shape of our eagle.
Remove the final piece and your basic shape is done.
The basic shape is done, now the detail work needs to be done
