Body of the eagle

Trace the lines that will become the head of the eagle.

Also trace the lines that will become the tail, you will be these
to a depth of about 3 to 4 inches or the thickness of you saw blade.

Cut the head first

Cut a line along the wing to the base of your tail marks. don't go past the wing mark

Make the tail cuts the same depth as the other cuts

At the depth of your cuts cut along and remove the block

Remove all pieces carefully

Once all pieces are removed it should look like Picture below, do the same to
the other side until they are the same.

The next cuts are for the legs as follows

These cuts are on an angle to give the bird its wide stance

The finished leg cuts look as follows.

You will need to trace the head and feet onto the bird the lines will be your guide.

The pattern should be traced onto both sides of the bird, be careful not to cut past
the lines on either side

Remove pieces as shown, be sure to score you lines.

You must remove the wood carefully, any small cuts can be hard to get rid of later

Use the smoothing method to get to the line on both sides.

Be careful to stop at the line.

Be aware of where the other side of your bar is cutting.
