What kind of gloves do you wear in the winder when you're sawing? I've been trying all kinds but I haven't found something that keeps my hands warm, protects my fingers from getting mashed between the mill and the boards, and is grippy enough to let me pick things up easily.
What kind of bandsaw blades do you use?
I've tried Monkforsager, Simonds Red Streak, and Lenox Woodmaster C.
I like them all, but I thin the Simonds seem to last the longest. Monkforsager's don't seem to spin very long, before they crack in the gullet straight down and break.
Have you ever tried to weld blades back together?
