This pine beetle infestation should give the fellas in colorado a good go at sawing some of it up, out here in BC we are batteling pine beetle as well.

most of the pine beetle epidemic is on national forestland. They really intend on doing very little about it. There's not much industry left in Colorado, the feds quit putting up sales and the industry dried up, imagine that. It's kind of funny because the feds will put up a large sale and say they want to deal with disease and insects and general fire hazard (they never put up sales with the stated objective of just improving forest health) and no one bids on them and they wonder why. The few of us in the industry here are pretty lonely.
